2007 Jeep Compass: Starts and runs rough

Fix: Customer replaced throttle body with non OEM part causing it to not take a re-learn/calibration. Verified wiring from throttle body to ECU was in good shape and found it’s 5volt reference to be low. CKP sensor replaced due to internal failure and installed OEM throttle body.

2006 BMW 3 series 325i: No crank/start

Fix: Located cause of fault and found taped hose clamp holding main power/ starter wire together. Replaced with OEM battery cable from trunk to engine bay.

Cause: Work from previous shop left wires exposed which fan then caught and shorted 5v ref circuit. Also found coolant leak from radiator.

Cause: Bad battery and alternator causing TCM to lose power/signal and kept vehicle in 5th gear
