It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Jerry Mack Etheridge, known lovingly as Uncle Mack, who passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, following an automobile accident. Mack was 78 years old and left an unforgettable legacy of love, laughter, and hard work.
Mack grew up in Tupelo, excelling as a football player at Tupelo High School and Murray State University before beginning his career as a teacher and coach. He later became a well-known entrepreneur, founding several businesses, including Rides To Go with his son, Jere. Mack lived life to the fullestβhe was a gentle giant, full of life, and always the one to light up any room with his jokes and infectious spirit. His legacy of creating jobs, loving his family, and serving his community will live on in all who knew him.
To honor Mackβs incredible life, Rides To Go will be closed on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, so we can join family and friends in celebrating him.
