Project of the week was this 21 Kia Rio. Customer got into an accident and broke the transmission. Found them a used transmission out of a 23 Rio with only 58k miles on it. Replaced the transmission and programmed with Kia factory software. Vehicle now drives perfect and lives to see another day!

Customer came in with his 09 Subaru Outback for a routine oil change, only to find out both head gaskets were leaking oil badly, and the fuel tank was rotted and leaking. We pulled the motor, replaced both head gaskets, timing belt with new water pump, fuel tank and the radiator due to a coolant leak found at the lower corner. Vehicle runs like new again!

This was one of, if not the best story to come out of this shop since we opened doors in June of 2025. You see the signs on our building saying "keeping your car on the road, and money in your pocket." And "bring us your quote." Well we got the chance to make things right for this customer. Never been here before, but called and asked to have his vehicle towed over here for a second opinion after being quoted $13k for a new engine when all it had was a cylinder 1 misfire, ultimately due to having a stuck lifter and rocker arm. Found a TSB to replace the camshaft, rockers, and lifters, set the timing correctly and it's now running like a new car again. If you are ever feeling like you are getting taken advantage of at the dealership, or anywhere else, give us a call and we'd be happy to help you.
