Any Jaguar owners that have read my post give me a call if you need work. Do not bring your Jaguar to a local repair shop. They will tell you they know what they are doing, unfortunately that is just not true. As I stated many times. There are two Jaguar only repair shops in South Florida. Myself and a shop in Delray, no others.

As most of you may know after 32 years fixing Jaguars, I sold my building in Pompano, on July of 2021. Due to extreme medical conditions and the problems with employees due to covid. I decided to retired. Month's later I checked my voice mail. I received many messages wanting to know what happen to me and what do they do with their Jaguar.

I decided to open another shop, much smaller and less stressful. We will be open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The shop is by appointment only. I keep the phone number and the email. The website was changed.

As I have always said, be careful where you bring your Jag. The dealers are getting worse and the local shops are attempting to fix your Jag and failing badley. There are only two Jaguar only repair shops in the tri County area.
I'm looking to take care of you once again.

Cleaning out the shop. Need the space. I have in my possession a copy of a XJR-S Jaguar Sport. As I said it is a copy built in the US in Pound Ridge, NY. As far as we know this is the only one made.
In the late 80s mid 90s TWR and Jaguar Sport made 100 XJRS, 50 Red and 50 Black. TRW supplied the 6.1 litre 450 hp plus Jaguar V12 engine. Along with a TRW modified ECU. Along with up graded suspension , braking, steering and more. They went for $125,000.00 each.

From my research what I have is a US built 1986 Jaguar XJS with 10,000 on the clock. The paid invoices I have show a complete kit engine plus to build a Jaguar Sport XJR-S.

The car is complete, A duplicate of what was produce in England. The car is Oyster in color. It even carried the signature TWR mag wheels. It may not be a real XJR-S, but it is a close second, without the large price tag.It is also one of a kind. It is way faster than the 5.3 L V12 that was 299 Hp. The car comes with a clean title. The car has been stored inside for over 10 years. No rot. Car comes with all the paperwork from TRW Jaguar Sport. Engine build, dyno readings and parts build.

Jag Repairs regrets to inform our customers that we no longer take America Express. For 29 years amex would back the Marchant. That is no longer the case. So bye bye Amex. We still take Master Card and Visa. We also take debit.

Every few months I surf the net for Jaguar repair shops. For years there were maybe two or three in the tri county area. Now I'm finding three to four in just broward alone. More in Palm beach, and even more in Miami. For the last 26 years I have said the same thing. Jack of all trades master of none. My father told me that when I was a kid and it is still true today. How can you call yourself a Jaguar repair shop when you repair 10 other cars.
This is not possible. One will need wiring diagrams, computer software, shop tools for every car you work on. Then you need a master tech for each model of cars you claim to repair.

So let's call it what it is Bu****it.
These shops are using your money to learn to fix your car. Causing you more money in repairs.

Let's take Jaguar and Landrover since they are built by the same company. First things first 2005 and up use software called SDD. Without the proper software a rear brake job is not possible. The software is $273.00 per day, or 5900.00 per year. Thats just Jaguar and Landrover only. To work on the 3.0 and 5.0 motors you need $1800.00 in new shop tools. Thats just Jaguar alone. Now multiply that by as many cars you claim to repair. What about parts,

Two weeks ago I posted pics of my neighbor's across the alleyway. I sent a complaint to Code Enforcement , spoke to the city of Pompano. Nobody gives a s**t. Right now a hose or pumper trunk from the fire dept. Could not get past. Never mind the garbage. Southern waste takes the dumpster . They do not take the s**t on the ground. What kind of animal throws it's garbage over the fence. Whoever the owner of that building does not care. That makes them just as bad. How about someone does their job.

Any one owning a 2011- with a 5.0 V8 motor. Jaguar or Land Rover, Have a seat. What most people do not know is these motors are blowing up. Most repairs is $20,000.00. Yes you heard me. The timing chain tensioner piston is made from steel, the chain bow is aluminium. Bow brakes chain slips or brakes. Boom goes the motor. Jaguar will fix this issue for a price. Bills start at $3000.00 up to $20,000.00 for a total loss. Pic 2 shows chain bow with a hole drilled almost threw. Pic 1 is the front side of this motor.
There is a class action law suite on this issue. This problem affects all Jaguar and Land Rovers 2012 up. If the chain does not brake you have an ok chance of a repair. Make sure you call the local Jaguar / Land Rover repair shop and get this checked out.
