So. After 2 years 2 months since the fire that almost cost our lives, after one major heart attack, after a horribly shattered hip, after a burglary that set us back $7,000.00 in tools, after we bought an RV (sight unseen) only to find out it had been totally trashed, NEVER maintained, AND! All the furniture, appliances had been totally removed or damaged beyond any resuscitation.....Yup. We haven't killed each other, and we can finally walk up to our front door, turn the light on, walk inside, and breathe these beautiful words as we look at one another, holding hands...
