The countdown is on! Sprint Car Speedweek roars into Coos Bay Speedway on Tuesday, July 21, and it’s your ONLY chance this year to see these incredible winged sprint cars take on the South Coast’s fastest dirt oval!

Race for the Diamond at Coos Bay Speedway July 17-19

This weekend, Coos Bay Speedway is your chance to race for one of the most prestigious awards in drag racing—the NHRA Wally Parks Race for the Diamond!

Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the NHRA, racers will have the opportunity to compete for an exclusive 75th Anniversary Diamond Ring, a prize that can only be earned through victory on the track.

The format is simple:
Win your class on Saturday or Sunday and you'll earn a spot in the Race for the Diamond runoff on Sunday afternoon.
The winners from each day will battle head-to-head for the coveted 75th Anniversary Diamond Ring and the ultimate bragging rights.

The action begins Friday evening with Friday Night Drags, the perfect way to kick off an incredible weekend of racing. Then, the excitement continues with two full days of Summit ET Series drag racing on Saturday and Sunday as drivers chase class wins and a chance to compete for the Diamond.
