Run down of MRP raceway park, last night.

First off, big shout to Jody Shannon and Ohio Valley SCDRA crew, for putting on some amazing events and pulling in some big car counts. Plus understanding what what took place early in the night.

We went to off load the cars, dad started his car up and went to put it in gear,the motor decided to stay on the trailer. Not the way we wanted to start out our night.

I qualified 22 out of 45 fast cars. Was placed in the 4th heat 2 row back out side. Taking the top 2. After getting beat around for awhile . Finished 3rd. Into the b-main feature with a provisional, knowing I was already in the feature. I decided to tag the tail and start on the rear of the feature. Was doing great until I started spinning the tires. Was able to just hold on and finish the race in 18th.

So the decision was made, dad’s old motor is coming out of my car and going back into his… I’ll be trying to get the sport mod together to race it the rest of the season.

We are ready to go.

I am so thankful for my wife, kids and family. After being out for 3 weeks out of racing. I finally got back behind the wheel last night. Was able to finally find my grove with my dads last year. Started 5 in the first heat and was a great battle for 1st and 2nd with the s3 and Jeff Roberts. Finished the heat in second. Started the feature in 3rd got half way through the race and end up breaking a left front axle,ending my night. But was grateful to be back on the track
