We hope you’ll never find yourself in a situation where you need these but, as the saying goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry! By keeping these 7 items in your car at all times, you’ll always be prepared for emergencies and minor repairs on the go:
🛠️ Jump Start Kit + Tire Inflator 🛠️ These are great because, unlike basic jumper cables, you don’t need another car present to jump start your battery. Plus, you can air up your tires if they get low! (Make sure to keep it charged up for when you need it!)
🛠️ Tire Pressure Gauge🛠️ This is an absolute essential! You should be checking your tire pressure regularly to ensure they’re inflated to the appropriate levels for safety and performance.
🛠️ Tool Set 🛠️ You never know when you’ll need to take a closer look at something or perform a minor repair on the go! Make sure your kit has an adjustable wrench, an assortment of screwdrivers, and pliers.
🛠️ Flashlight 🛠️ Another essential! Emergencies don’t care whether it’s day or night, so always be prepared!
🛠️ Emergency Roadside Kit 🛠️ These usually contain reflective cones / triangles, which you can set up to help protect you from oncoming traffic should you need to perform a repair on the shoulder of the highway.
🛠️ Jack + Tire Iron 🛠️ Flat tires don’t discriminate — it could happen to anybody! Most cars have a jack and tire iron in the trunk compartment, but it’s a good idea to double check that yours is present and in good condition.
🛠️ First Aid Kit 🛠️ Another essential emergency item! We recommend getting one that includes a reflective emergency blanket which can be used to keep warm in Winter, or reflect sun + heat in Summer.
With these items in your trunk, you’ll be prepared for almost any situation! As always, if you have any questions or concerns, we’re here for you:
