Today I had to surface a pair of Vortec 350 heads. This one is brand new. Vortec heads are suppose to have a 64 cc combustion chamber. That is what this one was advertised as having. But after measuring discovered that it was 70cc. Not even close. The factory 906 casting this was suppose to replace was 64cc. So we cut it down to get it close. I don't blame the seller. He was probably told what the castings were, believed it added his markup and sold them. The customer just happened to ask me to check them. Looking at them you can't tell a difference. Most people probably just run these out of the box .
