It is an honor and a pleasure to get to know all of our customers! This morning was extra special, as I got to meet and fly with Air Force Veteran Charlie, who flew AC-119K Stinger gunships in Vietnam, then instructed in T-37’s and T-38’s, and then worked in the F-15 Eagle development and flight test program before he retired. He hadn’t touched the controls of an aircraft in 30 years, but this morning he flew the old Stearman like he’d been flying it for decades. What an amazing guy to fly with and talk to!

Our new WACO YMF-5 "Clara Rose", which seats TWO passengers up front, is here, has been granted FAA approval to join the Legacy Biplane family, is done with her required maintenance and safety inspections, and is officially on line and READY TO FLY!! Did you know that Legacy Biplane also specializes in Stearman and tailwheel flight instruction for pilots? We recently spent a few days training a new owner how to fly his beautiful Army PT-17 Stearman.
