It is an honor and a pleasure to get to know all of our customers! This morning was extra special, as I got to meet and fly with Air Force Veteran Charlie, who flew AC-119K Stinger gunships in Vietnam, then instructed in T-37’s and T-38’s, and then worked in the F-15 Eagle development and flight test program before he retired. He hadn’t touched the controls of an aircraft in 30 years, but this morning he flew the old Stearman like he’d been flying it for decades. What an amazing guy to fly with and talk to!

Clara Rose has completed her first Golden Skies Sunset Tour of 2026 from Mid-Carolina Regional Airport with Armando Carrion at the controls and a lovely 85-year-young passenger who grew up in the area. Want to see your house from the air? Want a sunset cruise? legacybiplane.com
