I am happy to announce that Mr. Ken Davis will be putting on the car show for the festival this year. I have passed on the suggestions to Ken that many of the participants of last years show provided and he will be trying to work those into the mix. I’m sure that everyone will provide Ken the same support and enthusiastic attitude that you gave me. While I am not just dumping everything on him, he will be the man in charge and the face you’ll see at the show. I will still be out and about at many of the area shows helping Ken to promote the show and in some cases, warning him of some of you! 😜. So as a goal, last year, we saw 38 examples of automotive ingenuity, up from the previous years staggering count of 7! This year, let’s fill the park with more of the same types of automotive expression that we had last year, and show Ken some outstanding support!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
Due to the date of the 2019 Heritage Festival and Car Show coinciding with another commitment that I had already made, I will not be available to put on the car show this year and the festival committee is seeking a replacement for my duties. I will be glad to help as able prior to day of show as able but at this time, I am uncertain how much help I can provide. I can provide list of previous sponsors as well as a list of past participants. Lots of opportunity to promote the show by attending surrounding area shows to pass out fliers as well as visiting with participants at the shows. I am thankful for the great turnout that the show had for 2018 and hopefully someone can step up and take it to the next level. If interested, you can message me here or contact me @ 316-990-0930.

I would also like to thank Martin Cranford with Cranford Synthetics and Brad Atkinson with Mel Hambelton Ford for bringing out some excellent vendor displays of their products and display vehicles as well as providing some great door prize items! Thank you all for supporting our show this year.
