Meet Bartholomew! 🪲🌳

After hanging out with the crew most of the day, Ol' Bar, a beautiful, newly emerged cicada, was safely relocated by Site Manager Ben to a peaceful wooded area in the country.

Throughout the day, he even accepted a few high-fives and didn't seem to mind the ride one bit.

After spending up to 17 years underground, Ol' Bar deserved better than a cement-covered lot full of traffic. Now he's got trees, fresh air, and a chance to make the most of his brief time above ground.

At 4th Avenue Car Wash, we believe we have a responsibility to care for God's creation, even the little things. Every creature has a purpose, and sometimes lending a helping hand is all it takes.
