Another cool video from our last race this year. 2nd round at the D3 NHRA North Central Division 3 St Louis race vs Matt Harris. Classic Comp race of a fast car catching a slower one right at the stripe. Margin was .021 sec...around a foot. 6.565sec ET/202MPH.

More exciting news for D3 Comp!

So we’re a few days away if kicking off the LODRS Division 3 season and the Comp Bonus Fund has a new announcement! Thanks to Bob Post and Machine Tool Solutions (www.mtsincoh.com) out of Columbus Ohio, we are excited to announce the MTS Comp Eliminator Shootout! This race will take place during the D3 event at Beech Bend Raceway Park. As it currently sits, we are confirmed for the following….
Top 8 in D3 Bonus Fund point standings will be divided in to 2 fields of 4 cars. The A field will be the top 4 points earners racing for $1,500 to Win and $750 to R/U and the B field will be #5- #8 points earners racing for $500 to win and $250 to R/U. More details to follow in the upcoming days! Time to button up the loose ends and head to Indy!

Like a lot of racers this winter, I had to get a new helmet due to my SA2010 helmet expiring. For Christmas, Ben Holt got me this Simpson Race Products helmet, and had Travis Hess put this mind-blowingly awesome paint job on it. Travis is one of those people with a skill set so awesome, I can't even begin to understand how he gets it from A to B. I'm just so happy he was able to squeeze it into his busy schedule. Thanks so much Ben Holt and Travis Hess!!!!!

2021 was a pretty good year for the Holts. We had some struggles trying to get this dragster happy, but we also had a few highlights that kept us in good spirits. This run at Bowling Green was probably the round win highlight of our year... hopefully we can keep it going for 2022.

Of course...it only happens with some great components and vendors that keep you going strong!

Tight 1st Round loss to Matt Harris. We went 6.66et at 200mph...but not enough to chase him down. Good comp race....4-cylinder turbo dragster vs a 6-cylinder door car.

Good race vs Matt Harris in a tight first round loss. Almost identical Et's under our index...and Matt beat me .050 on the tree.

We put our car on the pole with an awesome 6.52 at 201mph run. Pretty cool to put it at the top at the biggest race of the year. Some glitches knocked us out of racing in the second round...but it was a pretty good race for our car. Ben and Dad are really getting the this car working great....and special thanks to Chris Danison for being our Super Crew this week.

Jim qualified 5th with a 8.56et....and then after an all night engine swap he got beat in the 3rd round by the eventual runner up Jimmy Daniels. It was a big deal the car was even ready to race on Friday.. and Jim made a great race of it! All in all a good Indy 2021!

Day 1 of . No Comp runs today....but helping Jim Pancake with his awesome SS/AH car during the Dodge Hemi Shootout. They have 2 qualifying runs today....and we put a GoPro in this car...so should have some awesome video to post later.

We can't quite put together a full weekend yet....but we have our moments. This round one win was cool to take with us. Off to Lucas Oil Raceway for the US Nationals.
