A Carb Auto Care Inc was established by Charles “Mack” McClellan in 1988, as A Carburetor Service Inc. Two years later his son Jimmy came aboard to join him in the family business. Starting out in a small two bay shop, Mack and Jimmy slowly, but steadily built A Carburetor into one of
the most respected repair shops in the area. In 2010 Mack purchased and revitalized a neighboring exhaust shop, which at that point A Brake and Muffler was born. With honesty, hard work, experience, and determination both shops became a success! Mack worked the muffler shop while leaving A Carb to son Jimmy and longtime shop foreman, Paul Dudley. Unfortunately, Mack became ill and passed away in March of 2019. While grief-stricken Jimmy managed to purchase the muffler shop and began the process of streamlining both businesses into one, so on Jan 1st, 2021, A Carb Auto Care Inc was born. Jimmy and now co-owner Paul carry on the tradition of honesty and skilled craftsmanship that Mack ingrained in both of them.
