In 1979, Mary Leavitt started selling American flags from the trunk of her car. It didn’t take long for locals to begin lovingly calling her the Flag Lady. She opened her first storefront here in Columbus in 1984, and we’ve been proudly known as the Flag Lady’s Flag Store ever since. We’re now owned and operated by the second generation, Lori Leavitt Watson, and her mother Mary still comes in ever

y day! Throughout the years, we’ve stayed true to our strong community roots and expanded our inventory to include state and local flags, sports flags, and custom flags to help market events. We manufacture many of our flags here in Columbus, and in our Flag Pole Center, we're able to complete installations, maintenance, and restorative work for any flag poles. We're passionate about the way flags help rally, motivate, and identify, and we're proud to be a resource for our community's flag and flag pole needs.
