A blown tire. No spare. And a family vacation flight to catch. 🛞✈️

A family traveling from Wichita, Kansas, to Fayetteville, Arkansas, found themselves stranded near McCune, Kansas, when a tire blew out. With no spare, they called Hammer Tires and Service.

A local farmer hit something that damaged his tire, so Hammer Tires and Service went straight to the farm. We installed a tire boot and a new tube, completed the repair, and got him back to work fast with minimal downtime.

Saturday evening, a local farmer called us with two blown tires on his seed tender. We verified the tire size, loaded the service truck, and headed straight to the field.

Both tires were replaced, and his seed tender was back in service before he finished planting the field.

🚛 Blowout on I-44 / Will Rogers Turnpike? We’re coming.
This driver suffered a tire blowout while traveling the Will Rogers Turnpike on I-44. He was able to get clear of the turnpike and into a safe location before giving Hammer Tires & Service a call.
We responded quickly and were on scene within an hour.
Once we got there, we found more than just the original blowout. A second tire was getting close to failure, so we replaced both tires rather than send him back down the highway with another problem waiting to happen.
The blowout had also damaged the mud flap and hanger. We straightened the hanger, replaced the mud flap, got everything buttoned back up — and most importantly, got the truck back on the road in time to make its delivery.
That’s what roadside service is supposed to do: solve the whole problem and keep your downtime to a minimum.

Saturday afternoon. Cold rain. Two blown trailer tires near downtown Pittsburg, Kansas.
Not exactly anybody’s idea of a good day to be stranded on the side of the road.
Hammer Tires & Service responded, got both tires handled, and got the trailer back on the road quickly. Our guy may have needed the rain suit, but the weather wasn’t stopping the service.
