Late on the Fourth of July weekend, we received a roadside call in Sarcoxie, Missouri from a commercial truck needing a hard-to-find 10.00-20 tube-type tire with a tube and flap.
This isn't a tire you'll find sitting on the shelf at most locations. Fortunately, Hammer Tires & Service had it in stock.

Late on Father's Day evening, Hammer Tires & 24/7 Roadside Service responded to an emergency roadside call involving a fully loaded commercial dump truck that suffered a catastrophic wheel-end failure. Multiple wheel studs failed, leaving the truck disabled and unsafe to move.

This wasn't a simple roadside tire change. With a fully loaded truck and a damaged rear axle, repairing it on the shoulder wasn't the safest option. Our priority was protecting the driver, protecting the equipment, and recovering the truck without creating additional damage.

Using heavy-duty cribbing, hydraulic bottle jacks, chains, and recovery equipment, our team safely supported and secured the damaged rear axle so the truck could be carefully driven back to our Columbus, Kansas service facility for permanent repairs.
