Sharing the whirlwind week our Mobile Sim program has had in the southern part of MO. We were providing healthcare career exploration activities to students to do our part to expand workforce. Students and communities were excited for the opportunity! Communities visited: Poplar Grove, Kennett, Sikeston, New Madrid, and Hayti. The Shelden Sim team was excited to participate in the Worlds of Work event sponsored by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. What a great and well-organized event to introduce HS freshman to a variety of career! And the moulage station was very popular!

We teamed up with volunteers from the Sinclair School of Nursing to provide a hands-on lung sounds workshop for the nurses at The Bluffs.
We love opportunities to support those who care for our older adults and help keep their skills sharp.
