5 Things you should do during a test drive👍🏽

1. Turn the Music/ Radio off. No music during the test drive

2. Turn the fan speed to a minimum or completely off.

3. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right. Listen for any weird vibrations/sounds

4.Your sales rep or anyone else in the car should keep talking to a minimum. Concentrate on the drive.

5. Take the car on the highway. Your test drive should not only be on smooth roads at low speeds, but also at higher speeds. Vibration usually occurs during higher speeds. Take the car though a bumpy road and listen for rattling sounds or loose parts that could be a concern. Make sure the car is also aligned properly and the car doesn’t steer left or right during straight away. Also make sure the vehicle shifts smoothly into its proper gears.

Not always is it necessary to put money down. Unless you have less than perfect credit this will increase your chances of an approval with the bank.

I have seen many cases where people with less than perfect credit still get approved with zero down. Every circumstance is different.

1st off …What’s is a buy here pay here dealer?

Buy here pay here dealerships not only sell cars but effectively act as the bank, too, by providing in-house financing, typically for buyers with bad credit. Interest rates can be higher than other lending options 🙁and customers make car payments directly to the dealership.

Buy here pay here dealers don’t usually report to your credit bureau because you make the payments directly with the dealer. This won’t help if you’re trying to build your credit🙁

Most Buy here pay here dealers attach a GPS tracking device to your vehicle in case you miss a payment🙁 this way it’s easier to repossess it and or shut it down until you make payment.

With the interest rates being higher than usual add buy here pay here dealers you end up paying way more than what the car is worth☹️

2. Skip the premium option ,some vehicles can take regular gas saving you $.20-$.40 per gallon. Use regular gray gasoline unless your cars manufacture specifically requires premium

3. Join a fuel rewards program with your local gas station chain or grocery store.

4. Use a rewards credit card that offers cash back at the pump

5. Check your gas cap a bad seal or missing cab can allow gas to evaporate from your tank

6. Weigh in your car, the less you have weighing down your vehicle the better gas mileage you gets

7. Buy more efficient car, fully electric, hybrid, four cylinders.

8. Sometimes gas stations offer discount for using cash vs credit card

9.keep your vehicle properly maintained and make sure tire pressure is correct👍🏽 low tire pressure consumes more gas,

10. Slow down, don’t speed, the higher your RPM the more gas your consuming

11. Reduce your idle time don’t start the car and then leave it running for a long time while you wait for everyone to get in.

12. Accelerate slowly and use cruise control when possible.
