🦌 Fall Driving Reminder: Watch Out for Wildlife! 🍂

Did you know fall is one of the riskiest times of year for animal-vehicle collisions? Deer are especially active this time of year, and collisions can happen in just a split second.

A recent article from glassBYTEs highlights the increased risk during peak animal-collision season and shares some important information for drivers to keep in mind.

🚗 A few reminders:
• Be extra alert around dawn and dusk
• Slow down in areas marked for wildlife
• Keep an eye out for more than just deer—other animals can end up on the road too
• If you see one animal, watch for others nearby

Animal collisions can cause serious damage, including damage to your windshield and other vehicle components.

📖 Take a moment to read the full article and share it with someone who does a lot of fall driving!

Stay alert, stay safe, and keep your eyes on the road! 🦌🍁

Deer remain the leading cause of animal-vehicle collision claims, with crash risks rising during the fall months.

❤️ WHO ARE WE HELPING? ❤️

As part of our October Coat Drive, Lighthouse Auto Glass is proud to support Springs Rescue Mission—but what exactly do they do?

Located right here in Colorado Springs, Springs Rescue Mission works with neighbors experiencing homelessness, poverty, and addiction. Their goal is about more than providing temporary help—it’s about helping people find a pathway toward housing, health, work, and lasting stability.

They provide services such as:
🏠 Safe shelter and housing support
🍽️ Nutritious meals
🧥 Clothing and basic necessities
🚿 Showers and laundry services
❤️ Health and recovery support
💼 Job training and employment assistance
🤝 Case management and connections to community resources

That’s why your donation matters. A warm coat, hat, or pair of gloves may seem like a small gesture, but for someone facing a cold Colorado winter, it can make a meaningful difference.

🧥 Help us fill our donation bins this October!

Bring your gently used coats, hats, gloves, and other winter gear to Lighthouse Auto Glass. All donations will go to Springs Rescue Mission.
