Not all dents are created equal: it’s a matter of metallurgical physics. At The Ding Guy, we understand the science of the "elastic limit." This is the point where metal can no longer spring back to its original shape.

Technical honesty is our "PDR Purity" rule. If a dent is too deep, PDR isn't the answer. We provide full-service traditional bodywork when metal is stretched too far, preserving your vehicle's value without compromising quality.

A repair should not end when the invoice is printed. It should end with proof.

At The Ding Guy, our ClaimStinger Visual Audit creates a time-stamped, geotagged digital record of your vehicle after repair. High-resolution photos and detailed documentation help verify that the physical restoration was completed properly and support manufacturer-standard repair records.

Why this matters:
• Protects your vehicle’s resale and trade-in value
• Gives you a clear post-repair record for your files
• Helps support lender, insurer, and future buyer documentation requests
• Adds transparency and accountability after a claim

The Ding Guy provides the repair expertise. Our specialized claims documentation system is powered by ClaimStinger and licensed to help provide faster, more accurate professional reports.

With 35 years on Colorado’s Front Range and a family legacy in Colorado dating back to 1872, we believe quality work should be documented: not just promised.

Why is "PDR-First" the standard for 2026 hail claims? At The Ding Guy, we’ve spent 35 years on the Front Range educating owners on PDR Purity. Insurance companies now prioritize PDR because it preserves your factory finish and vehicle value: getting you back on the road faster.

We provide technical honesty: PDR is always the goal to keep your car original, but if metal is stretched beyond its limit, our full-service shop handles traditional bodywork for a proper repair. Powered by ClaimStinger, our precise digital inspections ensure your insurance claim is accurate and fast-tracked for Denver and Colorado Springs residents.

A repair claim shouldn’t leave you stuck between your insurance company, lender, and GAP administrator.

The Ding Guy is now partnering with ClaimStinger to provide access to the Total Asset Protection Program (TAPP): a specialized claims consulting and professional reporting system that we license to help make the paperwork easier to navigate.

TAPP may help:
• Protect vehicle equity by documenting the repair and restoration process
• Organize lender and GAP-related paperwork
• Support timely loss notification through the Deductible Clock Stop process
• Reduce administrative red tape that can delay deductible reimbursement or claim resolution

Eligibility, deadlines, and reimbursement depend on your policy or protection contract. Check your coverage before you have an auto claim, and ask us how the process may apply to your situation.

The Ding Guy has served Colorado’s Front Range for 35 years, with family roots in Colorado dating back to 1872. We serve Colorado Springs, Denver, and military families at Fort Carson, Peterson, Schriever, and the Air Force Academy. Active-duty military members and first responders receive 10% off, and our concierge service, including pickup and drop-off, can help during PCS moves.
