HELP WANTED – LAND CRUISER OR 4X4 TECHNICIAN
Tired of working in a filthy small shop ?

Precision Land Cruisers is looking for an experienced Land Cruiser or 4x4 technician to join our team in Colorado Springs.

We specialize in Toyota Land Cruisers and Lexus LX450s, performing everything from routine maintenance and repairs to complete restorations, engine builds, drivetrain work, electrical diagnostics, welding, fabrication, and custom modifications.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time. If you're tired of corporate politics, rushed repairs, and watching your paycheck disappear because of flat rate, this may be the shop you're looking for.

Requirements:

* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Welding and fabrication experience
* Professional work ethic and attention to detail
* Own basic hand tools
* Ability to work independently
* Toyota/Land Cruiser experience is a plus, but not required

We’ve been pretty quiet lately.

The shop has been incredibly busy, and we’ve been putting all of our time into customer builds while trying to catch up. That hasn’t left much time for creating content or posting updates.

We finally have a small breather coming up next week, so I’m planning to spend some time putting together photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes content to show you what we’ve been working on.

Thanks for sticking with us. We’ve got a lot of cool projects to share, and we’re looking forward to getting everyone caught up.

Do you think I'm sexy?

The new Bellfab front bumper looks killer.

We just finished installing one and came away impressed. Delivery was fast, the workmanship was excellent, and overall the install was pretty straightforward. We'd give it an A+.

Like any high-clearance bumper, there are a few compromises. We weren't thrilled about having to trim the valance for fitment of the winch, and running a remote winch control box really isn't an option for us. Mounting the lights was probably the biggest headache. Once the winch is installed, it's nearly impossible to mount the spotlights, so plan accordingly.

Other than those minor issues, the install went smoothly and the finished product looks fantastic.

We'll definitely be using these again.

We love it when a plan comes together!

There’s nothing quite like seeing all the pieces finally come together after weeks (or months) of planning, parts chasing, wrenching, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning.

What starts as a vision on paper eventually becomes a "almost" finished Land Cruiser ready for its next adventure. Seeing a build roll out of the shop exactly the way we imagined it never gets old.

This is why we do what we do.

This Croozer is about ready to go home . We will post all the build pics next week.

End of the week shop walk-through.

A little bit of everything going on right now. Chassis restorations, upgrades, maintenance, wiring, suspension work, and bringing a few tired old Land Cruisers back to life. Some are getting built for hardcore adventures, while others are simply getting another chance to stay on the road for the next 25 years.

This week was a busy one, but seeing these rigs come together always makes the long hours worth it.

Here we go again.

We aren't doing a full chassis restore on this one......Just getting the small amount of rust cleaned up and looking right. This is going to be one sweet LX450.

We are building this one with a very common-sense setup: gears, lift, tires, bumper, winch, and a nice stereo. Enough to make it extremely capable while still keeping it comfortable and reliable for years to come.
