September is the month when schedules speed up and temperatures start changing. Before fall gets fully underway, give your car five minutes of attention.

Check your tire pressure. Look at your wiper blades. Make sure your lights are working. Listen for any new noises. And pay attention to anything that feels different when braking or starting.

You don’t have to know how to fix a car to notice when something has changed. Catching that change early is often what prevents a small issue from becoming an expensive interruption later.
