Well, this isn't something you see everyday... Car was towed in as the clutch was having issues and was making a bunch of noise. When we took it apart, we found the throwout bearing completely seized up, then fell apart, then damaged the transmission as well. So, if you start to hear noose when pressing on your clutch pedal, please bring the car in before it becomes catastrophic. This $2200 clutch job just turned into a $5000 trans and clutch job. Please get your car checked out if it starts making noises.

No, we have not done the clutch in the car before. We have been working on this vehicle through 2 owners since 2023.

Fuel tank, rear end, front subframe, all suspension and the transmission are now in! Not bad for 5hrs of work, as we pulled everything from the sti and bolted it up to the impreza, plus finished removing every single wire from the hatch.

Next up, we recently acquired a 2017 sti, from the original owner, but there are title issues that we cant resolve. So, we are going to take this 2014 subaru impreza hatchback and build the sti hatch that subaru should have made, but didnt. This is going to be a really fun project! Should be done in a couple weeks!

We haven't posted in a while, but that doesn't mean we dont have anything going on. We are in the middle of several projects that are coming out this year as well as several We have finished recently. First thing is that we are are almost done with the LS swapped 99 legacy! We still need to 3d print the ducting for the rear windows to feed the rear mounted radiator, and we need to get some tuning done on it, but it is almost done! More pictures will come as we get closer on the build.

Fully assembled and tuned here at the shop!
Fully built heads with 272 cams
Garrett gtx3582r gen 1 turbo
Perrin t3 rotated setup, with recirculating ewg for emissions
ID1300x injectors
Radium hanger with walboro 450lph fuel pump
05 sti 6spd swap with brembos and DSS axles all around.
Etc, etc, etc.

A lot of goodies on the car and she is super fun to drive!

Yes, we know the strut bar isn't in place, we have to lower the aos to allow it to fit.

Sometimes all new parts are just better! We started using new case halves with all of our stage 1 and stage 2 short blocks recently, and have nothing but a great experience! Stage 3 and up still get season case halves, but are now running ZF Design upgrades! Pics of those to come!
