You can drop food off directly at the shelter OR at Goldstein Buick GMC, 1671 Central Avenue in Colonie!
🚨 Our Furry Friends Pet Food Pantry is completely out of food.
Right now, we have nothing on the shelves to give families who come to us for help feeding their pets. We urgently need unopened bags of dry dog and cat food to get the pantry stocked again.
We’re also going through a lot of kitten food (they love paté style wet food especially). The end of summer is still a very busy time for kittens, and we have quite a few hungry little ones in our care. 🐱
If you’re able to help, donations can be:
🐾 Dropped in the blue donation bins outside the shelter
🐾 Brought to our front desk Monday–Friday, 12–6 PM, or Saturday, 10 AM–4 PM

We’re also very low on linens, especially washcloths. We can use towels of every size, fleece and throw blankets, and flat sheets. Stains and discoloration are absolutely fine!
Please note that we cannot accept comforters, bedspreads, pillows, fitted sheets, items with elastic or batting, or knitted/crocheted items.
Every bag of food helps us say yes when a family asks for help. And every towel, blanket and sheet helps us care for the animals already here.
These shelves may be empty today, but we know what our community can do. Thank you for helping us fill them again and sharing! 💙
