🥒💚 THANK YOU, PICKLEFEST 💚🥒

Well, friends... The people have spoken!

One of the most common questions we heard yesterday was: "Are you doing this again next year?"

And by popular demand, it appears we have no choice but to continue the pickle-fueled chaos. 😆🥒

First, let's address the elephant in the room:

🌧️ The rain.

It rained. All. Day.

But the rain stopped absolutely nothing. We had contingency plans in place, we adjusted as needed, and despite the umbrellas lined up at the door and the cloudy skies stealing some of the magic from our selfie station, we still saw people laughing, shopping, dancing, eating, creating memories, and having fun both inside and out.

Honestly, we can't imagine what attendance would have looked like had the weather cooperated.

The turnout exceeded every expectation we had.

That said, we hear you. The rain drove everyone indoors, and at times it felt crowded and overwhelming. We heard your feedback regarding traffic flow, wait times, and space limitations, and we'll use those lessons to make next year's event even better.

Truthfully, we never expected quite so many people. Now we know. 😉

What stood out most wasn't the attendance, though. It was the kindnes, patience, smiles, and encouragement. The countless words of support. We heard every bit of it, and we love you right back.

💚 To our staff: You are absolute rockstars. Thank you for the countless steps, the flexibility, the problem-solving, and the energy you brought from start to finish. We could not have done this without you.

💚 To our vendors: Thank you for showing up with enthusiasm, creativity, and patience despite the weather. You are the heart of events like these.

💚 To Sean Miller for providing the soundtrack to our day.

💚 To Winging It Food Truck and The Little Soup Truck for keeping everyone fed.

💚 To Smokin' Good Salsa for the lemonade, pickles, and pickle spirit.

💚 To Glass Bolivar, who spent the day out there in the rain doing what can only be described as brute-force artistry. We are still in awe.

And finally...

💚 Thank you to every person who attended.

We've been told Picklefest created a significant economic impact for our community, and we'll wear that compliment with pride because supporting local businesses is what Farm Hippie has always been about.

But more than the sales, more than the numbers, more than the turnout...

What fills our hearts today are the smiles, families, conversations, and memories.

And mostlu the realization that something we dreamed up months ago brought so many people together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Until next year...

🥒 Pickle Panic lives on.

Picture round up!

Today was so much fun and bigger than we ever expected! We are sad that all of us staffers were so busy helping with the festivities at Picklefest, we didn't get as many photos as we had wanted.

If you have pictures to share with us, that may be reshared, please post them in the comments!

We will have an official post of thanks coming soon, but for now, we'll let this soak in as we finally rest, cry happy tears, and let the photos come in.

Well, friends...

It appears that Picklefest has now been given an unofficial nickname. According to Bartlesville Radio, Saturday's event is being called...

💥 PICKLE PANIC 💥

We're not entirely sure how we got here, but we're also not arguing with it. 😆

When we started planning our first-ever Picklefest, we hoped it would be fun, a little quirky, and something the community would talk about. Mission accomplished, apparently.

A huge thank you to Bartlesville Radio for the laughs and for helping spread the word about our very first Picklefest!

Whether you're coming for the pickles, the food, the live music, the glass blowing, the vendors, or simply to witness the Pickle Panic for yourself, we can't wait to see you soon!

Farm Hippie Bartlesville is about to answer the question nobody really asked out loud but everyon ..

💥 ASH SMASH 💥

This week's victim... er... featured product is Squeaky Hinge Bakery's infamous cinnamon roll. 😍

If you know Ash, you know this man has a weakness.

Not for sports cars.
Not for fancy gadgets.
Not even for pickles.

Nope.

It's cinnamon rolls.

And these are the kind that stop him dead in his tracks.

Fluffy? ✔️
Loaded with cinnamon? ✔️
Enough frosting to make life worth living? ✔️✔️✔️

According to Ash, the frosting-to-roll ratio is critical, and Squeaky Hinge Bakery understood the assignment.

Would he smash it again? Friends, he's already planning the sequel.

You know that feeling when you're a completely law-abiding citizen...
..but the second a patrol car pulls in behind you, you're suddenly questioning every life choice you've ever made? 😅

"Was I speeding?"
"Is my tag expired?"
"Did I accidentally commit a felony on the way to work?"

Yeah.

That's pretty much how food inspections feel.

Every. Single. Time.

The good news?

Farm Hippie passed our inspection with zero violations once again. ✅

The even better news?

The inspector's official comment was:

"Facility very clean & well maintained."

We'll take that compliment all day long.

Food safety isn't glamorous. It happens in the behind-the-scenes details:
✔ Proper temperatures
✔ Clean facilities
✔ Organized storage
✔ Safe handling practices
✔ Consistent standards

It's something we take seriously because our customers trust us to do things the right way.

So today we're celebrating another clean inspection and a team that works hard every day to keep our stores safe, clean, and well cared for.

Now if you'll excuse us, we'll be over here recovering from the completely unnecessary panic attack we apparently schedule before every inspection. 😆
