Please help if you can!

Hey folks. As everyone knows by now, the western part of our state got hit HARD by Helene. As a result, we're coordinating with another local event to come together as a community and do what we can to help out. First, if you haven't been to the Stokeridge Cars Coffee & Cocktails, this is the perfect time to check it out. It is this Saturday, October 12th. Our favorite coffee vendor, The Grinder Cafe, will be out there. They're raising their prices to raise funds to help, so please, chip in if you can.

Our final Cars & Coffee Greensboro is on Saturday, October 26th. This will also be an opportunity to help out with the excellent aid initiative put together by Scott over at Shine Shop Automotive. We will be accepting donations of materials and supplies, and will be sure they get to the right place. So, when you come out to Stokeridge this Saturday, and when you come out to our Cars & Coffee Greensboro on the 26th, please consider bringing a donation to help those in dire need!

Cowboys and Cars. Come on out and join us!

Folks, there's a new show in town! It is the Inaugural Carolina Cowboys Car Show 2024, and it is on Saturday, September 21st, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The show will run from 3PM to 7PM, and registration for entrants is FREE.

And, spectating is free as well!!! The day will include a fan festival open to all ages. There will be face painting, activities, food trucks, and more!

We're looking for some more Classics, Modifieds, Exotics, Trucks, and Street rods. Those are the five classes that will be judged by donations from the public and by a panel of notable judges from the automotive world, including:

- Danny Lawrence: Vice President of Alliance Operations & Director of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Program for Richard Childress Racing

- Mike Zabonik: A custom fabricator and welder who stars on the Motor Trend show Iron Resurrection

- Clay Campbell: President of Martinsville Speedway

There will be prizes for the top vehicle in each class, as well as Most Unique and Crowd Favorite! Prize for the winners of each individual category will include a pair of tickets to Martinsville Speedway, and the winners will be invited back to the Coliseum on Sunday morning (attendance optional) for Cowboy Church and for a presentation of the donations raised to support a PBR team member battling breast cancer.

Pre-registration is required to participate in the show, and will be open through Thursday, September 19th. As always, please ignore the comments telling you to DM for registration details - these are scams that we combat as fast as we can. The ONLY way to register is through this online form: https://form.jotform.com/241755752226055

So, come on out for a good time, and to support a worthy cause!
