As the weather starts to warm up, your tire pressure changes too.

A lot of people don’t realize that temperature affects the air in your tires, and when it swings from cold to warm, your pressure can end up higher or lower than it should be.

Driving on the wrong tire pressure can wear your tires out faster, affect how your vehicle handles, and even impact your fuel efficiency — and we all know nobody’s trying to spend more at the gas pump than they have to.

Most people think battery issues show up in the winter, but summer heat actually does just as much damage — if not more.

Higher temperatures speed up the breakdown inside your battery, especially if it’s already a few years old. That’s when you start seeing slower starts, dimming power, or it just doesn’t turn over one day.

Most batteries last around 3–5 years, and once they start getting into that range, heat can push them over the edge faster than expected.

It’s one of those things that doesn’t give you much warning, and it usually shows up at the worst time.
