I’m incredibly thankful to have amazing people like Bard and Blair in my life! As many of you know, Bard has been helping hold things down at the Ramble NC shop these past two weeks while I was out of the office welcoming our first child into the world.

I’m officially back in the office this coming week—and beyond grateful for the incredible support from our team, our friends, and this community. I’ve got plenty of emails, texts, and phone calls to catch up on, so thank you all for your patience while I get back up to speed!

I’m regularly amazed by how incredible the Airstream community is. The fact that I didn’t even know this amazing couple a year ago absolutely blows my mind.

Introducing the newest member of the ‪Ramble‬ team — and Carolinas Airstream Club tiniest new adventurer — Leah Helen Watson!

Mom, baby, and family are doing great, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the love, prayers, and support. Special thank you to Brad Drivers, Eric Kulikowski, and the team at Ramble North Carolina for holding down the fort while Chad has been out.

Leah is already part of the Ramble family, and we are excited to know she’ll be raised around Airstreams, adventure, and this incredible community.

If you own an Airstream and plan to camp off-grid, this is something you NEED to know.

These new tank straps are manufactured by Heim Built.

The original design came from Ronnie Dennis. He is the cool guy down in Alabama.

From the factory, Airstreams (and most RVs) are not designed to travel with full tanks. But if you want to boondock, visit national parks, or stay on BLM land—you’re going to need that freshwater onboard.

The problem?
When you travel with a full tank, the weight and movement can cause the tank cover to deform and the tank itself to stress over time.

- The common “strap” that most shops use
- And the new upgraded tank support system we’re now installing at Ramble that
