2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3L on the Dyno! 🔥

This factory flex-fuel Silverado came in for a custom tune after a few performance upgrades:

Mods we installed:
✅ Speed Engineering long-tube headers
✅ Off-road Y-pipe
✅ Speed Engineering 3.5" cat-back exhaust

To verify the factory flex-fuel system was dialed in, we topped it off with E85, bringing the ethanol content to an E40 blend. After confirming everything was working correctly, we performed a custom ECM tune on the stock engine.

Then it was time for the dyno...

Final Numbers: 278 HP 💪

A great improvement with a stock 5.3L, quality bolt-ons, and a proper custom tune.

Old 350 out... New 383 Stroker in! 🔥

The old Small Block Chevy 350 in Derek's hot rod was on its way out, so it was time for an upgrade.

Derek wanted a 383 stroker, and we found the perfect engine to bring his vision to life. Once the new 383 was installed, we finished it off by building a custom exhaust system to give it the sound and performance it deserves.

This Pontiac 455 is making some serious noise! 🔥

The customer brought it in for our carb tuning expertise, and the results speak for themselves.

Baseline:
307 HP
518 lb-ft of torque
(Stick shift car, so there's no torque converter slip inflating the numbers.)

After going through the carburetor, we found the biggest issue—the float level in the carb bowls was set way too low, causing the engine to run out of fuel above 4,000 RPM.

We corrected the float height, fine-tuned the accelerator pump, verified and adjusted the ignition timing, and put it back on the dyno.

Final Results:
🔥 393 HP
💪 617 lb-ft of torque..at the tires!

That's a gain of 86 rear-wheel horsepower and 99 lb-ft of rear-wheel torque from proper tuning alone.

It doesn't always take expensive parts to make more power—sometimes it just takes getting the combination dialed in correctly.
