❄️ WINTER IS COMING! ❄️

We know it still feels way too early to be talking about freezing temperatures, winterization, and shrink wrap—but boating season goes by FAST here in Vermont!

Moonlight Detailing & Marine is officially booking for the 2026 winterization and shrink wrap season. If you know you’ll need us this fall, getting on our list early helps us plan ahead for supplies, scheduling, and those unpredictable Vermont temperatures.

⚓ OEM filters, parts, and fluids used when Moonlight performs services
⚓ Offsite winterization and wrapping available on weekends

❄️🚤If you have any major repair/service needs let's chat about scheduling it over the winter. We can offer discounted labor rates for off season work which keeps us busy while helping save you some money.🚤❄️


As always, Moonlight is something we operate in addition to our full-time jobs and our kids’ sports schedules. The more notice we have about when you plan to pull your boat for the season, the better we can organize our schedule and make sure everyone is taken care of before the temperatures drop while making sure we juggle it all with ease.

If we took care of your boat last fall or this spring and you’d like to get back on our list, send us a message and let us know when you're aiming to be out for the season. Even if you don’t know the exact date yet, an estimate is incredibly helpful! We have emailed and/or messaged many of last season's customers to connect; if you have responded to those communications, you can disregard this.

Can you believe it's already time to have winterization on our minds? We are already booking winterization, wrap, and storage customers for 2026!

10% referral discount for sending customers our way! [Does not apply to offsite and/or marina work]

Please book early! This allows us to gauge how many barrels of antifreeze to lock in and the wrap that we will need so we aren't having to wait on any orders too!

While many utilize texting and/or calling PLEASE refrain from calling/texting during the day as Joe does work full time. He can't answer/respond during the day. Email is the best as it is checked through the day and will get a quicker response time, or feel free to utilize FB Messenger!

Last Saturdays project. Get the hull sides buffed, polished and waxed so she can be launched. She shines up pretty good for a 20yr old boat, Once she's in the water we will take care of the top. We have been taking care of this one for the last seven years. 7 yrs we must be doing something right😀 Thank you to all of our customers new and old.

Help a Vermont Father and Daughter Rebuild After a Devastating Home Loss

We never imagined we’d find ourselves in this position—but today, we are humbly asking for your help.

My daughter and I are proud Vermonters who have worked hard all our lives. We’ve always tried our best to support ourselves and stay positive through tough times. Recently, our lives were turned upside down when a catastrophic sewer pipe break in our trailer saturated and contaminated all the insulation, wood and all of our belongings, leaving our home uninhabitable. The damage was so extensive that our trailer no longer meets safety standards.

We immediately reached out for assistance, but after an inspection, even local mobile home repair and improvement resources told us they couldn’t provide funding because our trailer’s condition is beyond repair. Despite both of us holding jobs and my daughter attending school, the costs of replacing our entire home are far beyond what we could ever afford alone.

Right now, we’re staying in a temporary hotel returning to our trailer daily to take care of our dogs, but our stay is only covered until December 18. After that, the risk of homelessness is very real for us. We never thought we’d be on the edge like this, but this disaster has left us without options.

It’s deeply difficult to ask for help, especially when we’ve always worked hard and have overcome obstacles on our own. But here we are, reaching out and hoping for the kindness of friends, neighbors, and even strangers who understand that sometimes, life hands out more than anyone can handle alone.

Our immediate goal is to raise $20,000 to replace our unsafe trailer with a used and livable trailer. This will give us and our dogs both safe shelter and the ability to start again in the community we love.

If you are able to donate, any amount—no matter how small—will help. Even if you cannot give, sharing our story would mean the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion and support during this most difficult time.

If you're still looking to drop off, please shoot us a message first for the next 7-10 days. We don't have the space to accommodate anymore until after we get work done at the shop.

We are working as quickly as we can to turn them around while also trying to get all of the marina work done when weather is allowing for it.

Thankful to have this be a "problem", it means that Moonligiht continues to grow. It continues to get closer to being able to work for himself with the growth.. so close!
