ποΈ One of the most beautiful drives in America is right up the road from us.
The Beartooth Highway climbs to nearly 11,000 feet, with alpine lakes, snow drifts in the middle of summer, and views that stretch for miles. It's officially designated an All American Road, and once you see it, you'll understand why.
Here's the best part. You can turn it into a full day adventure right from Old Faithful RV Park. Head north through Cody, catch the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, climb the Beartooth Highway to the summit, then loop back through Yellowstone's Northeast Entrance, Lamar Valley, and Mount Washburn before heading out the East Entrance toward home.
We put together a complete guide with the best time to go, what to expect at the summit, and the full route.
