🦎 Look Who We Spotted at Bay Palms!

While exploring the resort today, we spotted this gorgeous juvenile Five-lined Skink!

And that bright blue tail isn't just there to look pretty—it can actually help the little skink escape a predator's attention. If threatened, a skink can shed its tail and make a quick getaway. As it matures, that brilliant blue tail fades into more subdued colors.

One of the things we love about Bay Palms RV Resort is that nature is part of the experience.

You might spend the morning watching birds, catch a glimpse of local wildlife while walking around the resort, head out to explore Dauphin Island, or simply sit outside your camper and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
