Good morning camping fam. This is a perfect example of why it is recommended to service your RV appliances in the spring before using. this water heater had a blocked burner tube causing it to catch fire and melt the gas valve and several other components, luckily damage was minimal but still a repair that possibly could be prevented. Installing bug and rodent screens over appliance vents also helps prevent issues like this.
