Obligatory thank you and weekend recap post. Thanks so much to everyone who came out! There was particularly a lot of people who hadn’t been here in some years and decided to come. That was very cool. Thank you very much to everyone for coming and supporting us. It was a blast
Aaron Reimer took home $1000 after winning 1st place in the tandem comp!
So in turn, Ben Ben Taylor got to take the freshly rebuilt crf50 and $400 cash for brining home 2nd place!
And Jay Jay took home 3rd place and $200!
Definitely gonna be posting some fireworks pictures with people drifting in the background

As for the comp, let me go over some things again. Most importantly, you must run a 245 tire or smaller! First place can choose between two prizes. $400 cash and the crf50 with freshly rebuilt namura top end, new carburetor and tires. Or $1000 cash. Second place will get whatever first place doesn’t choose. Third place will get $200. There will be multiple zones/clipping points. The runs will be scored. Lead car will be scored on the zones. Follow car will be scored on mostly proximity. I’m just gonna leave it at that. Everyone must be signed up by noon!

If anyone is not aware, DriftNWA is hosting a public event here this weekend! They’ll be running the second round of their seasonal comp series. But mostly open drift all weekend. Come support him and us and come drive with the peeps that don’t come out very often!!

Public service announcement, we will have open drifting Saturday 9am-2pm and 3:30pm-dark and open drifting sunday 9am-6pm. We get asked every event if there will be open drifting or just comp! The comp will be two hours or less. The rest of the entire event is open drifting! About 12 hours on Saturday and 9 hours on Sunday. Please bring fireworks for Saturday night!
