🏁 AUTO CITY SPEEDWAY UPDATE 🏁
To our racers, fans, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters,
We have another update, and unfortunately, it isn't the one we were hoping to share.
Due to continued construction and equipment delays, we will not be able to open for the July 25th Maximum Destruction Show.
We are still waiting on several key items before we can safely reopen, including:
• Delivery and installation of the new scoreboard
• Completion of electrical work
• Installation of fencing
• Final work by several contractors
Believe me, it is hard to sit back and not have better news. We know everyone is anxious to get back to racing, and we are too. Every delay has been beyond our control, but we continue working every day to move this project forward.
We especially wanted to let our racers know as soon as possible so you can make plans with other tracks and schedules. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we didn't want to leave anyone wondering.
The grounds continue to be maintained, the grass is being mowed, and work is continuing behind the scenes. We are making progress, even though it isn't happening as quickly as any of us would like.
Although our racing schedule is on hold, Auto City Speedway is still available for rentals. If you're looking for a venue for a private event, practice session, car club gathering, automotive event, or other special occasion, we'd love to talk with you. Please send us a message to discuss your ideas and available dates.
Thank you to everyone who has stood by Auto City Speedway through this rebuilding process. Your encouraging messages, offers to help, and continued support mean more than words can express.
We'll continue to share updates as milestones are reached, and we look forward to the day we can finally welcome everyone back through the front gate.
Thank you for sticking with us.
