Today, we pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we never forget the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the unity our country showed in the days that followed.

September 11, 2001 — Never Forget.
