We are still not in a position to hold races at Clinton Speedbowl. We are working closely with City of Clinton and the engineers to get the facility completed on the grandstand side to be able to hold races. We hope to have some practice days very soon but water is still seaping out from behind front stretch wall making track unusable from the rain a week ago. I will post pictures or a video tommorow to show progress we have made. Thank you for being understanding as this has been a huge project and has had lots of unforeseen issues to deal with. There has been a ton of people and businesses to thank for getting us as close as we are. In the near future we will start getting out proper thanks to all involved. Rod

Weather will postpone opening night at Clinton Speedbowl. With the amount of rain we have already got and the forecast for rest of week there will be no possible way to get track in shape and complete the needed work still on our list to hold an event this coming weekend. The engineer was out on Friday and we anticipate the final report in the next day or so we can work with the City of Clinton to get the materials needed and to complete the necessary steps to hold our opening events and the facility. We will have cars on the track for practice soon as the rain lets up a bit. Thank you to all those who have believed in us and become a partner in our project. The outpouring of support and volunteers has been incredible. Thank you.

We have not been able to secure enough water hauling equipment to get the track ready to be able to have a successful practice session to day . We will continue to move forward with the city to get the final engineering reports in so they can sign off on the grandstands and provide needed on sight water access and approvals to have fans in grandstands. This has put us in a position to have to haul water from fill station downtown and we have been unable to come up with water hauling capabilities that would give us a usable race track. Sorry to all those who have given of themselves to make this happen. We have made huge gains out here and I will be posting a live shortly to show how awesome things are coming along. We will have more updates early in week as there is a meeting with the engineer scheduled for 3:30 today at the track . Bringing a facility up to standards is a huge project and filled with many set backs and hurdles as we saw play out with Lawton. We are committed with our partners and the city of Clinton to make this happen. Rod
