Michigan Winters can be hard on your vehicle check out some helpful tips from Hancock’s!

Just because you have ABS and traction control make sure to stay aware while driving

Make sure to let your vehicle warm up before you take off

Try and keep your car full of fuel so if you get stuck or stranded you have a way to keep warm and keep condensation out of your gas tank

Make sure to check your tires tread depth to help ensure safe travels on winter road conditions

Ca-chow! It’s Lightening McQueen…wait no it’s JD. JD has been working as a mechanic since 2000 servicing a wide range of vehicles and other projects. When he isn’t turning wrenches JD is the driver behind the Hancock’s Garage #23 Sportsman Late Model Race Car. JD enjoys doing custom exhaust work but you can also find him in charge of running the shop. JD’s favorite car ever produced is an Orange 1969 RT 440 Dodge Charger.

Dave has been working on cars for as long as the Coyote has been chasing the Roadrunner. Since 1972 Dave has worked to provide quality service to the customer’s of Hancock’s garage. Dave enjoys doing custom exhaust work the most but more often than not you’ll find him behind the desk writing up bills and chatting with customers. Did you know that before becoming a mechanic he went to school to be an air traffic controller? Dave’s favorite car ever produced is an Orange and Black 1970’s RT Dodge Challenger.
