Meet The New Marina Manager!

After 13 seasons with the Clinton Marina, 6 as a Dockhand/Assistant Manager and 7 as the Supervisor, Jean LaShelle is officially retiring at the end of this season. Her love of the marina and boaters/customers from near and far was one of her glowing traits. She's handing over the baton to a well known, liked, and supported individual from a sister community. With that....

Welcome Dave Schutte, our new Marina Manager! Born and raised in Camanche, Dave comes to us with a unique background. His first job was as a dockhand at Camanche Marina! He is a graduate of Camanche HS, and the University of Northern Iowa, where he received a degree in Elementary education. He taught 5th grade in Clinton before getting interested in the Fire Service. He was a member of Clinton Fire Department for 6 years, before becoming Fire Chief in Camanche where he is about to retire!

Dave and his wife Christy have 3 children. Dave's hobbies include boating, fishing, and golf.

Please join us in welcoming Dave to the Clinton Marina and of sending Jean off to the many adventures that await her.

Music: Sins N' Roses is a regionally acclaimed tribute band for Guns N' Roses, based out of the Chicago area and tour the Midwest. Outstanding food vendors Deanna's Java Mikes Fun Foods Holly's Dogs and check out these beer vendors Wide River Winery , Five Cities Brewing Five Cities Brewing, Potosi Brewing Company , and Goliath Brewing Co. $2 Food samples and free Beer samples from 3pm-5pm and then from 5pm-7pm jam out to Sins N' Roses and buy your beer from Jaycees.

It's that time of the year again...

Hey All Boater/River Peeps... The parking lot that abuts the 9th Avenue boat ramp will be locked starting October 1st to protect the boats that we've begun pulling for winter lot storage. Those of you who trailer your boats can park across the street in the overflow parking lot by the RV Park or the gravel lot across from Wendy's. Patrons can access the Amenities Bld or A Dock by the side gate off of Roosevelt during normal business hours. Mechanic, Tyler Jensen, can be reached at 563-249-7341 for haul out and winterizing needs. Please call the marina at 563-242-3600 if you have any questions/concerns. Thank you!

Check out the list of events happening here in Clinton on July 4th! A reminder the riverfront will be closed to vehicle traffic during the parade. Fireworks are after the Lumberkings game. Come on down and help us celebrate Independence Day for the USA!! (Thank you to the many volunteers and staff who make this possible!)

Attention Riverfront Patrons, Marina Guests, and RV Campers:

FRIDAY, July 4th 2025 there will be a parade running up Riverfront drive. The parade is projected to begin at 1 pm. And run until concluded.

Riverview drive will be closing at 11:00am and is expected to reopen by 2:00 pm.

Note that Part of Riverview Drive MAY remain closed due to other activities down by the showboat.

Please plan accordingly to your holiday plans!
