Spruce Run Boat Rental - Permanently Closed

It is with great sadness that I'm posting this,

We lost the bid for the upcoming year at Spruce Run. This means that we will not be renting pontoons or motorized boats of any kind this summer, including any and all services we had in the past.

Yellowdog Paddle, Kayak East, and Paddleboard Yoga will be your go-to spots at Spruce Run this year, and they will continue their services over by the boat launch.

Hello friends!!!

Our last day of operation this year will be Monday September 7th, 2020 (Labor Day). As much as we want to extend the season, we do not have an adequate amount staff to help make it successful.

Thank you all for all your patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout this season. We are all in this together!

🛶 The Spruce Run Boat Rental is now OPEN for business!

A couple things that you need to know:
🚪 Outdoor Check-in: Follow the arrows to the back door.
🙋‍♂️ Social Distance: 1 customer per group checks in.
😷 Masks are highly recommended when checking in.
🎽 Life Vests: Bring your own or purchase one for $10.00.
🛥 Motor boat operators need a valid driver's license.
🚫 NO SWIMMING from boats, especially during the Harmful Algae Bloom. Please just enjoy your day ON the boat. 🙂

Update:

Boats and docks are back in order, and we will re-open tomorrow!

Due to the severity of the storm, we will only be open for reservations of pontoons and non-motorized boats (kayaks, canoes, rowboats) until this weekend.

sorry but we will be closed today for repairs to our dock and boats due to the storm we had yesterday. I believe the park is closed as well.

Due to the shortage of life jackets and our requirements on having to sell them, we will only be open for reservations today.

We currently do not have motorized boats available today.

However, ONLY if you have your own life jacket, you are still free to rent something.
