We are looking to add another professional technician to our team.
At Matt’s Import Haven, we aim to help our community by keeping our customers’ vehicles safe, well-maintained, and reliable for as long as possible. If you're seeking a rewarding career and feel connected to this mission, we should talk!

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. You will be a vital member of our team, helping to diagnose, inspect, and maintain our customers’ vehicles. We currently work on 2006 and newer Asian, European, and Domestic vehicles. No RVs, no big-box trucks or large fleet trucks (nothing bigger than a Ford Transit, for example). We provide scan tools, specialty tools, ongoing paid training, a clean work environment, a no-drama, family-oriented atmosphere, and the support you need to succeed! The technician role will occasionally involve minor customer interaction (listening to noises, test drives if needed), but you'll primarily communicate directly with our team of advisors.

Sometimes, repairing cars can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Alex found that needle last week! Our customer had some aftermarket stereo components installed, and afterward, the power windows stopped working. So, they brought the car to us to figure out what was going on. Our diagnosis showed that the CAN Bus system was being pulled down, which prevented the windows and other systems from operating properly. Alex removed the inner door panel and began checking the wiring—though all the wires being the same color made it a bit tricky! After removing the newly installed speakers and untapping the harness, Alex discovered the culprit: when the speakers were installed, the screws used had also screwed into the harness, damaging a few wires. We were able to repair the wires, and everything is working perfectly again! Great job, Alex!

Did you know the very first documented road trip happened in August 1888, thanks to Bertha Benz? She was married to Karl Benz, the inventor of the first practical motorcar. Together with her two sons, she embarked on an adventurous journey from Mannheim to Pforzheim, Germany. Covering approximately 66 miles, this trip was a historic milestone as the first recorded long-distance road trip, taking around 7 hours to complete.
