Position: New Car Sales Assistant / Delivery Specialist
Status: Full‑Time
Location: Clinton Township, MI

The New Car Sales Assistant plays a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience from the moment a vehicle is purchased through final delivery. This position focuses on educating customers about their new vehicle’s features, assisting with test‑drive coordination, and ensuring all required documents are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Education & Vehicle Delivery
Guide customers through the features, technology, and safety systems of their new vehicle in a clear, friendly, and patient manner.
Demonstrate how to use key functions such as Bluetooth pairing, driver‑assist features, infotainment systems, and mobile apps.
Conduct personalized vehicle walk‑throughs to ensure customers feel confident and comfortable before driving off the lot.
Follow up with customers after delivery to answer questions and reinforce satisfaction.
Test Drive Coordination
Schedule and prepare vehicles for customer test drives.
Ensure test‑drive vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for demonstration.
Documentation & Administrative Support
Assist customers in completing all required paperwork for purchase, financing, and registration.
Verify accuracy of customer information and required documents before submission.
Coordinate with sales consultants, finance managers, and the title/registration team to ensure smooth processing.
Maintain organized records and follow dealership compliance procedures.
Customer Service & Dealership Support
Provide a welcoming, professional experience for every customer.
Answer product questions and support the sales team during busy periods.
Stay up to date on new vehicle models, trims, and technology updates.
Assist with showroom presentation, vehicle staging, and dealership events as needed.
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
Comfortable learning and explaining vehicle technology.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Prior automotive, retail, or customer‑facing experience is a plus but not required.
