Mama Mia! Look what arrived at our shop on Sunday: an Italian exotic with drop dead gorgeous looks and the rumble of an all-American 351ci V8.

The 1972 DeTomaso Pantera was an exotic, mid-engine Italian supercar designed with Ford mechanicals and small-block V8 power!

Unlike most European supercars of the 1970s, you could buy this one and have it serviced at your local Mercury-Lincoln dealership thanks to a partnership with Lee Iacocca!

Only 7,000 Panteras were made and this one is a stylish, upgraded version with modern conveniences and electronics.

We can't wait to dig into this car... it's like something straight out of the Cannonball Run!

The American Legion and local residents of Peninsula Township Michigan hosted a parade in honor of the 250th birthday of the USA on July 4th, 2026.

Chase Classic Motors brought a classic police car to the event along with our friends in the fire truck collector community!

We want extend our appreciation and thanks to Upper Lakes Tire of Grayling, MI and owner Eric Brinks for lending us a helping hand with friendly and affordable service.

After the National Cherry Festival, Ross was enroute back to our Chase HQ in the Chevrolet Caprice when one of the rear tires steel belts began to separate. Ross noticed the normally smooth Caprice had an awkward vibration and sideways shimmy at low speed which indicates the tire tread pulling to one side from separation.

Being a show car, the original spare tire from 1990 wasn't going to be of any use on this 300mi trip!

Fortunately, Ross managed to limp the car to their shop where Eric Brinks and crew had our Caprice fixed up with a safe new tire and back on the road in less than an hour! You folks are always welcome at our shop if you ever need assistance in Detroit!

It's great when a vintage car can still do the job it was designed to do. Thanks to the support of Sheriff Michael Shea and the Grand Traverse County Sheriff Office, our 1990 Chevrolet Caprice helped out with traffic duty at the National Cherry Festival Car Show in Traverse City today!

Drive safely and mind the crowds of sightseers!

Congratulations to Nick Carpenter for winning our vintage police car photo contest earlier this year. We caught up with Nick at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City Michigan and awarded him VIP membership to our Hi-Speed Chase Club.

IT'S FRANKIE!! It's Frankie...Frankie? FRANKIE!!

Yes, Ol' Blue Eyes himself arrives in spirit and in good company as we welcome this 1981 Imperial "Frank Sinatra Edition" (FS) into our workshop.

Amazingly, this car comes to us courtesy of a YouTube viewer, a retired TV Director, who gave our video about the doomed 80s Imperial and its notorious EFI system high praise; both for our story telling and the technical highlights we showed!

In fact, he was so impressed with our deep dive into the car he'd recently purchased, he decided we're the only shop he's confident sending it to.

So now that Frankie is here, we'll get right to work getting this Mopar singing like ol' Frankie himself!
