Around Town with the City of Clifton
This week, our community gathered to celebrate the life of a man who gave so much to the place he proudly called home.
Ronny Lairdon was more than a Bosque County Commissioner. He was a faithful servant to Clifton, a longtime member of the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department, and someone who never hesitated to step in when there was work to be done. His love for this community could be seen in countless ways, including the many hours he dedicated to the Legacy Park Committee, helping restore the historic auction barn and the Little Alamo so future generations could enjoy and appreciate Clifton's agricultural history.
On Saturday, friends, family, and neighbors honored Ronny's life, a true reflection of the impact he made on so many people. The overwhelming support shown was a testament to the respect, kindness, and dedication he shared with our community throughout his life.
Ronny leaves behind a legacy of service, hard work, and a genuine love for Clifton. He will be greatly missed, and we are thankful for the lasting mark he left on our city.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Lairdon family.
