CLIFTON (Iroquois County) – Troopers are on scene with a rolled-over semi-truck on I-57 southbound at milepost 298.5, near County Road 3000N Road. The left lane is expected to be blocked for several hours, expect delays.

Emergency personnel on scene of an accident on S Rt 45/52 at 8000 South Rd (Kankakee / Iroquois County Line). Plan accordingly, avoid the area, if possible.

Due to weather related conditions and multiple crashes, I-57 at mile post 308 near US-52/Schuyler Avenue is closed in both directions.

UPDATE- 7:22 PM, Roadway back open..
CHEBANSE (Iroquois County) - Troopers are handling a semi-truck fire on I-57 near milepost 300, just south of Chebanse. I-57 southbound lanes are closed and traffic is being rerouted at the Chebanse exit until the truck and debris can be removed. Closures are expected to last several hours.

Traffic Alert -

ISP Troop 5 is investigating a traffic crash on I-57 northbound near milepost 261, Paxton, in Ford County. The northbound lanes of I-57 are closed at this location and are expected to remain closed for several hours.

Please seek an alternate route of travel and avoid the area!

**UPDATE - all lanes reopened at approximately 11:50 a.m. **

Troopers are on scene of a semi rollover on I-57 southbound at milepost 312 (Kankakee/Route 17 exit).

The roadway is currently shut down and southbound traffic is being diverted off at the 312 exit and routed back onto I-57 at the 308 Kankakee entrance.

Please seek an alternate route

** Update - roadway reopened at approximately 1:45 p.m. **

Troopers are in scene of an oversized load that went off the roadway on Route 54 at Route 115 near Roberts in Ford County.

The roadway will be shut down for over 3 hours. Please avoid the area.
