Good example of light not getting past the oxidation and yellowing on the lens. If the light is not getting past the lens then it's not getting to the road. It doesn't take that much to start really diminishing your night visibility.

Oxidized, cloudy, yellowed headlights block the light from reaching the road and more importantly objects (pedestrians, animals or stalled vehicles) on the side of the road. Dulled yellow headlights are dangerous and it can be corrected. $60 is a small price to pay for visibility that can help avoid major issues.
