I feel a clarification is in order:

Yes, our shop in Clifton Park is now closed.

Yes, Edelmann Sales and Service is now the official Beta dealer in this market.

Yes, I will still be involved with the sales and service of Beta motorcycles and now also with the KTM group. All great bikes!

We are calling this a merger because it was imperative to the folks at Edelmann Sales and Service that I remained involved in some capacity, in fact it's part of the formal agreement. This is good news for everyone!

Jimmy and I decided back in late summer that we wanted to sell our business. My first, and last, call was to Tim Edelmann. He was immediately interested and over the last couple of months we've seen this through.

Although by technical definition some would not call this a merger. However, Edelmann Sales and Service has purchased all inventory of Pro Cycles and a fair chunk of good will too! All has been integrated into their inventory.

This was not just a cold sale to an unknown entity that has no presence in our market and has no history here either. This is a joint effort between both our companies and all of us are excited at the prospect of increased participation in the Dual Sport and Adventure bike world. Great service and sales experiences will still be the standard. I will remain available for guidance on suspension, engine services and diagnostics as well as a member of the sales force. I will also continue to put on rides, guide the Americade ADV rides, Dirt Daze and others. With this new joint force there will be a lot more opportunity to host rides and other interesting ideas we are working on.

This is a move that makes sense in a contemporary business world where the influence of the internet and social media has a large effect on the sustainability of a conventional "small business" like ours has been. It's a business model in the powersports industry that is no longer sustainable.

If you have not been to Edelmann Sales and Service new store then please make an effort to see this incredible dealership. A showroom full of eye candy, a shop big enough to hold races in and a large, friendly, knowledgeable staff that all participate in riding and racing.

If you have any questions please feel free to comment below and we will be sure to give clear answers. If you are a current Beta owner feel confident in their staff to give you the same level of service that we offered. Our ace Beta Tech, Jeremy Popp, is now employed full time there. All is good.

We at Pro Cycles are pleased to announce an exciting and promising new business venture. Effective today, December 8th, 2025, Pro Cycles will be merging with Edelmann Sales & Service in Troy, NY. Edelmanns will be the proud new dealer for Beta motorcycles in the upstate NY region and they are eager to support all of our many loyal and dedicated customers. All business operations have moved to Edelmanns store and our Clifton Park location is now closed. We feel strongly that Edelmanns will be a wonderful home for Beta motorcycles and trust that their passion for the off-road industry will translate to continued success and growth for the brand we love in our community. Beta rideability is a real thing! Here's a video of me riding my Beta 390RR Race Edition. Notice how well this bike tracks, straight and no wheel skipping through these rock gardens. It has finally arrived!! The new 2026 Beta Alp 4.0 light adventure bike is now in stock at our convenient location in Clifton Park. We are really excited about this bike. Many of you know that we are big into the Dual Sport and Adventure bike market and we enjoy getting riders set up to share in this wonderful sport. This new model is going to be very popular and will fill a void in our lineup.

This newly released Beta has been a popular mount in Europe for some time and now we have them to sell here in the USA. The Alp fills a much needed category for light adventure bike enthusiasts.

Weighing in at 308 lbs it is very easy to handle and will not intimidate even the most novice rider! With a very low seat height, a peppy liquid cooled 350cc engine and a host of necessary features that include the following:
