Day 5 Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 ( with some extra photos from day 4 rt 66 drive)!

We are over the moon to be able to write this post as we officially completed Hot Rod Drag Week 2026! This week has been truly amazing! We were lucky enough to be joined by our good buddies the “Ohio boys” Steve and Shaun and we had a blast! Thank you guys for coming along for this crazy adventure with us.
I put a picture of a post someone wrote about Hot Rod Drag week for you guys to read. It truly does sum up what this week feels like.
We are so blessed to be able to be a part of it. To us these events bring people into our lives that we may have never crossed paths with in life. We all share a passion for cars and these spectacular events. At the end of the day these people are not just friends they are family!
Now we turn and burn back to Virginia with tons of wonderful memories. We already can’t wait till next year the wheels are turning literally! ❤️

Day 6 pictures

Day 4 Hot Rod Drag Week!
Shew weee St. Louis bought the heat today in more ways than one! It was somewhere between 95-100 degrees today. The drag racing was also 🔥 with everyone trying to put down there best passes with only 1️⃣ more day of competition. Tomorrow is shaping up to be fierce! David shaved a little time off today which with the excessive heat was impressive. We then took off for the drive which was majority on Rt 66 with 2 amazing check points the Motorheads bar & grill and the Atlanta giants! Hope y’all are enjoying all these pictures I know it’s been alot this week but couldn’t resist bringing you all along! This girl is sunburned and tired 😴 catch y’all tomorrow! I have more pictures from today I will post them with tomorrow’s pictures. ❤️

Day 6 pictures

Day 3 Hot Rod Drag Week!
Thankfully Mother Nature decided to cut us a break today and we were able to get some racing accomplished at Cordova! We then took off for another scenic drive with 2 more awesome check points at Winner Circle and Argosy casino! Tomorrow we hit World Wide Technology for Day 4! ❤️

Day 2 Hot Rod Drag Week!
Unfortunately the rain got us today and we didn’t get a chance to race at Byron. After several hours of heavy heavy rain they made the call to cancel so we all took off for the drive to Cordova. Once again the route gave us some beautiful scenery and the 2 checkpoints were phenomenal. We even managed to check out the largest truck stop in the world after we got the route done this afternoon. I was on picture overload once again today. Like I said the scenery was beautiful once the rain lifted. Catch y’all tomorrow we are looking forward to Cordova and seeing what the truck can do. ❤️

Day 4 Pictures

Official Day 1 of Hot Rod Drag Week:
Today definitely had an “off the chart” level of excitement since it was the first official day of Drag Week! You could feel the energy, excitement, nervousness and even frustration at times. The sights and sounds of Drag Week truly are an awesome experience and we feel so blessed to get to be a part of such an amazing event! ❤️
David made his first officials pass at 13.4 and we turned in our first time slip of the week. 🙌🏼We didn’t shave any time off today but we are working hard to see what the new set up can do. 😅 We then took off and rode the official route and did the 2 checkpoint photos and made our way to Byron. The route was beautiful and the checkpoints were awesome as you will see in my pictures. Had to make cuts today I took so many pictures. Catch y’all tomorrow for Day 2 of Drag Week! ❤️

Hot Rod Drag Week Day 3 Rt66 Raceway

This morning was busy busy with everyone going thru the tech line and getting all our equipment checked in preparation for the start of drag week tomorrow. This afternoon was a test and tune session for everyone to get there rides dialed! David finally got to make the first hit with the new truck setup and it did phenomenal! We were beyond excited and can’t wait to see how much we can get it dialed in this week! Tomorrow we get to make our first official hit and then cruise our way to Byron! Can’t wait to see what cool sites we get to see along the route! Don’t forget to go over and check out our daily YouTube videos showing our fun journey! ❤️

Day 2 Hot Rod Drag Week Ohio to Joliet!

We had a wonderful day making our way to Joliet for the official start of Hot Rod Drag Week tomorrow morning! We took our time and road the back roads enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Today’s picture opportunities included the Longaberger Basket headquarters and a 9/11 tribute in a small little town. Man do we love the small little towns we get to see when we just get off the interstate and enjoy the drive. Maybe it’s because we live and love our little small town in Virginia but these little towns today offered a nostalgic step back in time. Hope y’all enjoy my picture barrage! Hot Rod Drag Week Day 1
We kicked off our week long adventure knocking out a few miles today before we head on to Chicago tomorrow. Our first stop was Ohio to pick up some great friends who decided to come along on dragweek with us this week. I know I have said this many many times but it definitely deserves repeating. The friendships we are so blessed to make thru all these wonderful events(Hot Rod Power Tour/ Hot Rod Drag Week/Powerfest) are truly priceless to us. Tonight we got to sit down at a table and enjoy an awesome meal with wonderful friends! Doesn’t get much better than that!❤️

Hot Rod Power Fest Day 2
So many adjectives come to my mind as I sit here and think about today! We were blessed to be asked to lead the morning cruise this morning and we had a BLAST! We got to spend the morning driving thru the beautiful back roads of Georgia and having the cutest breakfast stop at the Milner Place Cafe! We packed this little street with amazing cars and had a most delicious breakfast socializing and enjoying spending time with all our new friends. We truly can’t thank everyone enough who took time and came on the cruise! ❤️
Hot Rod Power Fest was 110% AMAZING! It was so well organized and offered something for everyone. Whether it was drag racing, autocross, checking out beautiful rides or cruising your ride they had you covered! If you didn’t get to make it this year you’re definitely not gonna wanna miss next year! Hope you enjoy the pictures from today! Now we gotta turn and burn back to VA and get ready for Hot Rod Drag Week in a couple weeks! Can’t wait to take y’all along on that adventure too! ❤️
