This is a big event to celebrate my dad and give back to the racers. We first hand know how expensive it is to race. So we don't raise the money to only pay the guys that win the race. We have a ton of contingencies throughout the night.
Right now Friday night is just a standard purse but we want to bump it up just a little bit. As well as give the winning purse some meaning.
Dad alway said that we didn't have enough big local races and now we have two.
The Tim Grubaugh Sprintcar Showdown and the Don Rehm Classic.
So if you would like to help make this show a little bit bigger. It will help us bring some of the best talent to the south east that will help us make this show grow.

We have had some AMAZING support for our 3rd year of the Tim Grubaugh Sprintcar Showdown and we are still looking to expand the event.
At the moment our budget is $1500 shy making Friday Night $3000 to win and $300 to start.
Then if we could put a cherry on top of the event we are $4159 short of having the elevated purse for Friday and making Saturday $7659 to win!
What is the significance of $7659 you may ask... we Pops was born on July 6th 1959 (7/6/59) and we think it would be a beautiful Tribute to make the winners portion of the purse just that!
Then for our shirts we have sold 52 of our 75 shirt goal for the event. So if you are going to get a shirt anyway, please reach out and get one ASAP! With your help we are able to add the special touches that make everything!
