Well I have worked 15yrs or more in Cleveland Oklahoma. I seem to be a magnet for hard to fix things that have been everywhere else. I also started working on light truck diesels since there was no one else doing them in town I have took training on powerstrokes, duramax, and cummins engines. I have taught other techs about power strokes and duramax platforms. I got an opportunity to open my own shop and so here I am. ASE Certified Master Tech, Adv Engine Performance.

Got clean 2000 Chevy 1 ton at shop. It was at another shop in town for intake gaskets. They replaced them and pinched wires so they replaced them again, replaced and ignition module and fuse. Couldn’t get started. No fuel psi. I think it was there for while. Customer brings to us. We get it running and it has knock in motor. Cust said it never did that, so even talked to shop and was told it was not moving when he worked on it. But it left his shop on hook. Well the knock is a fastener on top #8 piston. And other shop says they didn’t do it.

Oh the fix to get fuel psi was a new fuel pump relay.
